- I have been thinking the same thing Mike,
-
- Just how difficult can it be to emulate an Amiga on an Amiga ?,
- the processors are (nearly) the same (but faster) and the custom chip-sets are
- (almost) the same (and a little bit faster).
-
- My Blizzard A1260 is 70 times as fast as the A500 was,
- audio is still the same :-( as the Amiga's of 1987
- and AGA is OCS with some extra's.
-
- Running old software under multitasking will somewhat be more difficult
- 'couse some resources (eg. CIA timers) didn't expand but I think it has to be
- possible.
-
- An other possible bottleneck is the timing of eg. trackloaders and other nasty
- stuff the old programmers used to protect their SW.
-
- But people like Christian "ShapeShifter" Bauer should be able to program such
- program. (And it's far more easy to get the ROM images as well !! :-)
-
- Robin.
